Passover, Spring, and Home

Passover, Spring, and Home

Passover always brings me back to my childhood on the kibbutz in Israel.

I remember celebrating with my whole family, grandparents, cousins, and the whole community. We read the Haggadah together, sang, and I took part in the children’s choir and the dances. Every year it felt special in that same familiar way. Those memories have stayed with me, and I hope they always will.

The fact that Passover comes in the spring always makes it feel even more meaningful to me. There is something about this season that touches the soul as it awakens from the darkness and cold of winter. Everything is blooming, the air changes, the light feels different, and there is a feeling of renewal everywhere.

This year feels especially emotional, because I’m back home in Israel. After many years away, being here for Passover again brings up so much for me. It makes me think about family, tradition, and the memories that live so deeply inside us.

I’m happy to share a coloring page here based on my Passover Seder Fabric "Plate" as a little gift - Here

If this coloring page makes its way to your holiday table or family time, I’d love to see it in the comments. :-) If you share it on Insta, please tag me- @EleyOri

Wishing you a meaningful and beautiful Passover.
May we all find freedom and peace, within and around us.
